I was reading an article online today called Good news for working parents: Flexible work arrangements on the rise and found mention of a relatively new site called N.E.M.O (New England Mothers Organization).
N.E.M.O. is located at NEMothers.org and it really looks promising. In 2004 they had a job board up and they tout free access to all job postings which are all actual salaried positions. You can also sign up to be a Super Mom Member for $4.95 per year (which seems reasonable) and receive additional benefits like their bi-weekly newsletter and continuring education scholarships.
I tried out the job search and actually found the following four positions listed:
- Virtual Administrative Assistant – $25/hour
- Desktop Publishing Editor – $10/hour
- Customer Service – $9/hour
Some of the job postings don’t list salaries and many of the job categories are empty, but it’s worth a search if you’re looking for legitimate telecommuting work.
