If you’ve been online for any length of time, you’ve probably seen (or at least heard of) Craigslist. It’s a huge community of classified ads where you can find almost anything – even jobs.
You can search the default CraigsList site or you can go to the Craigslit City Page to begin searching in your area.
To begin a search, type the keyword telecommuting into the search box in the left-hand navigation and then select “jobs” from the drop down box of choices like this. You’ll be presented with a list, sorted by date, of jobs that list “telecommuting” either in the title or description of the classified. You can then refine your search by limiting the results by the types of jobs, the work status and even look for job listings that have your keyword in the title of the classified ad as well.
You can also try searching with the word telework or the phrase flexible work hours. You’ll find some jobs that list telecommuting as an option (or telework okay or flexible work hours available)… but on occasion you’ll also notice that you might get a result that contains the word or phrase but isn’t a good lead (like “no telecommuting” included in the job description details.
A quick look right now found a listing for Admin Telecommuter. Part or Full Time. The listing almost sounds too good to be true, but you could certainly inquire and determine what the offer really entails. It never hurts to look or ask!
